High-End Urban Furniture Product Photography
with Urbanbrand444 in Wolverhampton…
Working closely with Tony the owner and mastermind behind these truly innovative high-end urban furniture brand, it really was great fun having been granted the full reins for creativity and setups to this quirky aerodrome setting. Spending the day surrounded by awesome high powered machines brought in for the day, such as Aston Martins, Harley Davidsons, Piper & Cessna fix wing aircraft, and an array of incredible props. That’s not to mentioned the UrbanBrand444 team, who seem to be an exquisite blend of high octane / adrenaline fuelled characters, all sharing a real taste for chic design and the finer things in life. These shoots are probably right up there in my all-time favourite work days and I’m always happy to head out when they call.
Working all day in an aeroplane hanger was a little chilly but the thought of props and styling really did come into its own, Tony was so happy with the final results.
Shooting Furniture made from repurposed Scaffolding boards and poles in an Aircraft Hangar, was just a complete Creative Playground for me!
Spending the day photographing wooden furniture made from reclaimed scaffolding boards is always a treat and something very new for me to photography, but doing it inside a vast aircraft hangar took things to another level. The space itself, raw and industrial, was the perfect match for the rugged charm of the pieces. I had full creative freedom, Tony and his lovely wife brought along a mix of vintage props, old suitcases, signs, aviation gear, and other nostalgic treasures to build scenes that felt authentic, bold, and full of character.
The contrast between the aged textures of the wood and the polished aircraft in the background made for some stunning visuals. The hangar’s natural light gave everything a cinematic quality, and every setup felt like its own little story, I did have a 2 light set up just to create some more moody lighting and to capture some extra detail of the furniture. This was one of those shoots where creativity flowed non-stop. It’s always exciting to see how far you can push an idea when the setting, subject, and energy all align.
I cant wait to see them on the website!
